First off, sorry it's been so long since I've posted. My life is crazy!!! Anyway, this past weekend James and I had the opportunity to go to Texas with some of James' family for his grandpa's surprise 80th birthday party. It was a lot of fun! I had never been to Texas before, and it was nothing like I pictured it. We were in Northeastern Texas and it had rolling hills with trees and swamps, etc. The weather was perfect (in the 70's), minus the wind. James' grandpa had like 60 acres of woods, where the cousins went hunting one morning and got a deer, there were wild hogs, etc. It was so nothing like I pictured it! I met a ton of family that I'd never met before. I even got to briefly see some really good friends I haven't seen in a while (thanks Mandi and Burke for driving to see us). It was weird being there without my kids, but it was a nice break at the same time. Anyway, here's a family pic. Enjoy!
